GLB to STL Converter Online
Turn a GLB 3D model into STL mesh geometry for 3D printing and other STL-based workflows. Choose a file to process locally in your browser, then export the converted STL.

STL output
STL stores mesh geometry, not the PBR materials, textures, animations or scene data that may exist in the GLB.
What Happens When You Convert GLB to STL?
Conversion changes the container, not the print quality. Inspect scale, mesh integrity and the slicer result separately.

Convert to STL
Keep triangle geometry, then verify units, scale and mesh integrity before slicing.

support@fomrix.comCan I convert GLB to STL online?
Yes. The mesh geometry inside a GLB can be exported into STL format. Material and animation data are not part of the STL output.
When should I use a 3D model-to-STL workflow?
Use it when the next tool needs triangle geometry, especially a printing workflow. Keep GLB when materials, textures, hierarchy, rigs or animation still matter.
Will textures be included in the STL?
No. Standard STL represents surface geometry and does not preserve GLB PBR textures or materials.
Is a converted STL automatically ready for 3D printing?
Not necessarily. A valid conversion can still produce geometry that needs repair, scaling or print-specific checks. Open the file in the STL Viewer and use STL Repair when needed.
What is the difference between GLB and STL?
GLB is a compact web-oriented 3D format that can package geometry, materials, textures and animation. STL is a simpler triangle-mesh format commonly used in 3D printing.
Can I convert a generated Fomrix model to STL?
Yes. If the model was generated from an image, you can continue into an STL workflow without leaving the product.
Convert the Geometry You Already Have
Upload a GLB, review what STL preserves, and continue into a print-oriented mesh workflow.
